Easy Danish Remoulade

A zesty Danish condiment featuring a creamy base, curry powder, chopped pickles and capers. SO delicious on hot dogs and open sandwiches (smørrebrød) of all kinds!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup prepared mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp skyr or greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp capers coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped shallot
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder 

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients together in a small bowl.  Stir until fully combined. Store in an air-tight container in the refridgerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

There is no need to season this sauce with additional salt. Between the mayonnaise, pickles and capers, this sauce is usually salty enough without adding any extra. Be sure to taste it prior to adding any additional seasoning.
